KIDS CONSORTIUM and the ORRSD Service-Learning Leadership Team is pleased to announce a Summer Institute for ORR Educators Date: July 9-12, 2007 plus one day in November to be scheduled Credits: Three graduate credits (final approval pending) Location: ORRHS Open to all Tri-Town staff and residents. Cost: Pending Confirmation by Northeast Consortium Based on the award winning KIDS as Planners service-learning model, discover the steps in creating a quality service-learning experience in partnership with students and community organizations. This Institute will be a rigorous, interactive, collaborative learning experience, with new and experienced practitioners sharing their creativity and expertise. Institute participants will develop project ideas integrated with curriculum requirements and assessment models, and practice strategies to build a collaborative environment in the classroom and allow for student reflection and celebration of their work. Who Should Attend?
